What is Botox? 

• Botox is the only FDA-approved treatment to temporarily improve moderate to severe lines in 3 areas: crow's feet, forehead, and frown lines between the eyebrows. 

How does it work?

• Botox is a neurotoxin called  onabotulinumtoxinA which temporarily blocks the chemicals in the muscle responsible for contractions which then lessen the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

How long does it last?

• The neurotoxin wears off differently for everyone, however 3-4 months is the average time

What is light therapy?

Light therapy is a skin treatment which can treat a variety of dermatological disorders through different physiological pathways. It can improve cellular function, activate collagen production, stimulate cell regeneration, control inflammatory responses, and help in killing non-beneficial microbes.  

What do the different colors do?

• Red light 630nm: Reduces wrinkles, scars, redness, and acne; stimulates cellular repair
• Blue Light 470nm: Speeds up healing, treat acne, and sun damage
• Green Light 525nm: Calming, reduce inflammation, may help hyperpigmentation
• Yellow Light 590nm: Increase red blood cell production, reduce dark spots, inflammation and swelling
